Learn about the IIWYD approach to innovation
The 2i'sWYD ("two eyes wide) approach to innovation was invented by Michelle Shogren, owner and CEO of Innovate In What You Do, to outline a system to bring innovation to your company consistently and successfully. She realized there were 4 key parts to creating an environment for innovation and turning creative ideas into innovative results.
These are the 4 Pillars:
- Intention (February 20-23, Nashville, TN)
- Ideation (May 15-18, Catskills, NY)
- Incubation (August 9-12, Kissimmee, FL)
- Implementation (December 5-7, Morristown, NJ)
Deep Dive into the second pillar
Every Innovation Camp will focus on a single pillar to dive into and learn. The May 2023 camp will be focusing on the second pillar, Ideation in what you do. By the end of the camp, all attendees will be able to answer the following questions:
- We have lots of creative people – why do we need structured ideation?
- How can you bring ideation into day-to-day work? What are some easy and fast ways of working that deliver results?
- How do you design a workshop of your own?
- How will I remember these later to be able to use them?

Through a series of 4 innovation camps (think summer camp for adults but all year round) you will have a chance to attend the ones you feel like you need the most help and tools with… or join the full series to be certified in the 2I’s WYD approach.
